‘I will sing of your love and justice, Lord . I will praise you with songs.
~ Psalms 101:1
God is our King and we are leaders in his Kingdom. He is such a good King and deserves all our songs of praise. God is a loving father. A just and rightful judge. He is a redeemer. God is the rock and shield of those who love and trust him.
As leaders in the Kingdom of God, we are to go out into the world. That does not mean to become part of the world, but to be an uninfluenced extension of the world. We are to be arms of the world reaching out to God, just as an infant reaches out to her mother in search of comfort and nourishment.
As Christians, we know what the world needs. We know first hand how a life infiltrated by Jesus can change for the good. That is why each one of us is God’s leader and commander of his army. We sing God’s praises because we are more than equipped to speak of his goodness. We are more than knowledgeable of his love. We are more than capable of guiding our community, friends, and family members on the road to redemption.
