We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.

The mind is a dangerous place sometimes. It is a place of solitude. It is a place where most people don’t understand. Our mind is the place where we can create dreams or live out nightmares. The enemy knows the power of the mind and will use it as a way to debilitate¬†us. We need to take every single thought captive.

The devil will flood our thought process with so many lies. At if we don’t take control of our minds then we may start to believe that these lies are truth. THEY ARE NOT!

God defines who we are, not the devil. That is why he tells us to take every thought captive. That means that everything that pops into our minds must submit to the authority of God. We can’t allow our minds to be full of sin and expect our lives to be holy and acceptable to God.

The enemy will use any insecurity we have as a means to pull us away from God. He will constantly tell us that we are not worthy of love. He will constantly tell us that we are not beautiful. He will constantly tell us that God is not real. He will constantly tell us that we are a waste of valuable space.

The devil is the king of lies. His purpose is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The devil will fulfill his job through the world, which he has dominion over.

We must always surrender our thoughts to our Lord and Savior. We have to allow him to deal with the lies we hear about ourselves. We have to go to the word to change these misconceptions that the enemy wants us to believe. God desires to give us a free and abundant life. He does not wish to see us tied up in the lies of the enemy. We need to trust God and take every thought captive so he can deal with everything the enemy attacks us with.

The mind is a dangerous place and can be used by the enemy to pull us away from God. That is why we have to take every thought captive.
